Exhaust system planing line new construction Awood

At the new construction of the Awood factory in Uden, we installed a tight exhaust system on the planing line. This project resulted from collaboration with De Groot machine tools and Weinig Group, both involved in the installation of the planing line at the new plant.

The project includes the installation of a completely new planing line and other machine tools they use to produce outdoor parquet and various wood components. Our contribution? An outdoor plant with an amazing capacity of 100,000 cubic meters per hour. Along with that, beautiful piping inside. A super sleek unit, if we do say so ourselves. We are not only proud of our mechanics, who realized this technical tour de force on site, but also of our team in Franeker. What started on the drawing board has now been realized. Not only does it look impressive, but it is right down to the smallest detail.

Exhaust system planing line

The extraction system is an IBF type filter unit. This system is the ideal solution for extraction of sanding dust and other fine dusts, while complying with current ATEX legislation. Thanks to certified filter material and the vacuum principle, we keep residual dust emissions well within the standard. This filter system also includes an energy-saving module that matches the capacity to the need, allowing us to prevent excessive extraction and achieve huge energy savings.

Piping
By using multiple main pipes, the air velocity can also be optimized to prevent blockages. This advanced filtration system also complies with the latest European directives and carries the CE mark, making it fully compliant with today’s technical standards.
