The compact SMOB filter unit that can be placed in and adjacent to virtually any commercial building

Meconaf type SMOB filter units are very suitable for extracting and filtering sanding dust and other fine dusts. In addition, they comply with current ATEX legislation. Moreover, by using certified filter material, according to dust class M, residual dust emissions remain well within the standard.

From connection diameter Ø 250 mm, the filters are equipped with a dry fire line. The execution is optionally with dust collection trays, briquette press or airlock. Due to its compact construction, the unit can be placed (depending on capacity) in or adjacent to almost any commercial building, provided the ATEX regulations are maintained.

Furthermore, the filter units operate on the vacuum principle. This means that the fans are placed on the clean air side and therefore transport only clean air. The dirt is already separated by filter cloths for this purpose. This makes it possible to use high-efficiency fans. This results in considerable energy savings of up to 30%.

The filter units are also equipped with a large filter surface area so that the filter load is very low. A shaking frame is mounted in the casing to which the filter cloths are attached. The filter material used has a PTFE (Teflon) membrane, which ensures a long service life.

It is also important that air velocity is sufficiently high to prevent the material from settling in the pipe, which can cause blockages. Finally, by using multiple mains, even greater energy savings can be achieved.
