Cyclone dust extraction with box collection
A cyclone dust collector with box collection is a project we recently completed for Stammes Bloembollen in Dirkshorn.
The partnership specializes in growing lily, tulip and iris bulbs. They grow these flower bulbs on clay soil in four different provinces. The processing of the bulbs takes place in Dirkshorn.
Cyclone plant on negative pressure
In this project, a pressurized installation was chosen for extraction of dust and sheets toward an outdoor cyclone. The advantage of a cyclone installation at negative pressure is that the material to be extracted is not sucked through the fan. This keeps the system much cleaner. Centrifugal force pushes the material to the outside of the cyclone and collects it in a box at the bottom of the cyclone. The clean air is discharged into the heart of the airflow.
Cyclone dust extraction
The installation is of the type MEC40 and completely tailored to the situation at Stammes. In short, the dust and sheet extraction installation ensures that excess dirt finds its way to the cyclone installation outside. This not only makes the air quality at the workplace a lot cleaner (for man and machine), but suction also ensures a clean packed flower bulb.
We wish Stammes in Dirkshorn much success with the processing of flower bulbs, as well as with the cultivation of all crops. Thank you for the fine cooperation and the trust you placed in us. Finally, our mechanic likes to add that the care on site was also great. Especially the delicious strawberries from our own cultivation is something he likes to come back for!
