At Meconaf we are the specialist in air and filter systems. From our workshop in Franeker we build innovative installations that can be found at customers worldwide; from arable farmers and printing companies to timber and welding companies.
Our machines range from compact, mobile units to impressive meter-high filtration systems for large industrial players. And for the wood-processing industry, we go one step further: with our briquette press, we make wood dust circularly usable as heating. Smart and sustainable!
Due to our growth, we are looking for reinforcement. Will you soon contribute to our success as a Field Service Mechanic?
What will you do as a field service mechanic?
As a field service mechanic you are the face of Meconaf at the customer. You work together with colleagues – sometimes independently – to build and install our filter systems on location. You ensure that everything works as it should and you think about improvements.
In doing so, you will be responsible for:
- Installing filter systems and assembling piping according to drawing
- Modifying and converting plant and/or piping systems
- Good communication between the customer and our company
- And advise engineering on opportunities and improvements to our products and systems.

- A completed mbo education in engineering
- Experience as a mechanic
- Driving license B
