Meconaf is the specialist in clean air! Our self-developed air and filter systems and self-built machines, which we make in the workshop in Franeker, can be found worldwide in very diverse companies. From arable farmers and printing companies to timber merchants and welding companies.
The machines we supply range in size from compact mobile extraction units to meter-high filtration systems for large industrial enterprises. For the wood processing industry, we also offer a total concept by installing a briquette press under a new or existing filter unit. The press processes the wood dust into wood briquettes for heating the premises. Circular in optima forma!

Field service mechanic
About the position
As a field service technician, you will go with an assembly team – and sometimes alone, to the customer’s site to set up and operate a filtration system. In this role, you act as our company’s calling card.
In doing so, you will be responsible for:
- Installing filter systems and assembling piping according to drawing
- Modifying and converting plant and/or piping systems
- Good communication between the customer and our company
- And advise engineering on opportunities and improvements to our products and systems.

What are your competencies
- A completed mbo education in the direction of engineering
- Relevant experience as a mechanic
- In possession of driving license B
