Cyclone filter dust extraction organic farm Nagele
A cyclone filter was installed for dust extraction at the Poppe Agriculture organic farm in Nagele.
The organic farm grows carrots, onions, potatoes, chicory beans, alfalfa and grass-clover products for a variety of customers.
Potato Processing
To process organic seed potatoes, brothers Joos and Marien Poppe aim to supply high-quality seed potatoes to Dutch trading house Agrico Bioselect and organic growers.
Onion Processing
Besides processing seed potatoes, Poppe Landbouw also sorts and packs onions that find their way to consumers through supermarkets, among other places. Here, too, it is important for the owners to deliver a clean product.
Dust extraction
It is common knowledge that sorting seed potatoes and onions generates a lot of dust. Dust extraction is necessary not only to clean products, but especially to keep the ambient air in the room healthy for the workers. A cyclone filter is the solution for this. It filters the dust out of the air and returns the clean air back to the processing area.
Cyclone filter dust extraction
For both dust and sheet extraction, Poppe Landbouw has chosen a Meconaf cyclone filter in outdoor installation. Inside, Zeilmakerij Brouwers installed a transparent foil wall between the clean work area and the dust-producing machinery. By shielding the installation, we create two zones so that all employees benefit from a clean working environment.
