A large-capacity filter unit

Meconaf type IBF filter units are well suited for the extraction of sanding dust and other fine dusts and comply with current ATEX legislation. In addition, residual dust emissions remain well within the standard by using certified filter material according to dust class M.

Furthermore, the filter plant is equipped with a dry fire line. The extracted material is discharged through an auger/airlock combination. Filter plants of the IBF type operate on the vacuum principle. This means that the fans are placed on the clean air side and therefore transport only clean air. The dirt is already separated by the filter cloths before that. This makes it possible to apply high-efficiency fans. This gives significant energy savings which can be as high as 30%.

The filter units are designed with a large filter surface area, so the filter load is very low. A shaking frame is mounted in the casing to which the filter cloths are attached. The filter material used has a PTFE (Teflon) membrane, which ensures a long service life.

Energy saving module

The vacuum filter units with multiple fans (number depending on capacity) are equipped with an energy-saving module. By adjusting the capacity according to need, there will never be more extraction than is demanded. This creates enormous energy savings.

It is also important that the air velocity is sufficiently high to prevent the material from precipitating in the pipe, which can cause blockages. By using multiple mains, we can thereby achieve even greater energy savings.

Finally, these plants are specially designed for and built according to the current state of the art. They thus comply with all applicable European directives. The machines are CE marked.
