Qex wood industry inspection: for safe extraction systems and working environment
Every employer is required by law to provide a safe workplace and environment. So are companies in the wood industry. Meconaf is closely associated with the Qex seal of approval.
The Qex seal of approval stands for Quality Extraction Systems. The quality mark assures the buyer of an industrial dust extraction system that the system has been properly designed, installed and operated. Whereby the installation verifiably complies with applicable safety and legal requirements regarding the amount of dust in the workplace. Discover how our advanced extraction technologies take your business to the next level.
Meconaf certified for Qex inspections
With a Qex inspection, Meconaf offers you an overall check on fire and explosion safety, earthing pipework, filters, bearings and motors. In addition, a report and Qex certification of your installation according to points to be checked and the criteria set for the Qex certification. This is also fully in line with your RI&E report (concerning fire and explosion safety). We are certified by SKH to perform the inspection and our certified existing or delivered installations are periodically inspected by them.
Meconaf performs minor work directly during the inspection. The necessary parts, which may need to be replaced after inspection, think of motors, bearings, filters and or parts of the piping, are offered separately in a subsequent quotation.
After performing the Qex inspection, you will receive a comprehensive report recording the current condition of the essential points of the installation within 3 weeks after the inspection has been completed. And after the expiration of the one-year period, you will receive a reminder of the annual inspection from us without any obligation.
